Arnot criticized what he perceives as unbiased negative media coverage of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Specifically, Arnot says that TV news coverage has been quick to report on the challenges facing troops in the Middle East, while significantly underreporting the many heroic acts he’s seen from U.S. troops. Arnot said that he’s also witnessed many instances in which Iraqi citizens were wholly grateful for the U.S. troops.
