Advion insect granule is a non-repellent bait that is highly attractive to a broad spectrum of insects including ants, cockroaches, silverfish, house and field crickets, and earwigs. True to the Advion name, the new insect granule features the active ingredient that becomes MetaActive inside the insect and has proven “Exponential Control,” or horizontal exchange in social insects to reach beyond the insect that initially ingested it. This means pest control and lawn care professionals can expect high performance with minimal impact on non-target species for environmentally smart insect control, according to DuPont.
The formulation of Advion insect granule provides professionals with high-performing insect control in a ready-to-use, dry bait formulation. It is easy to apply in a wide range of application uses including attics, crawlspaces, basements, broadcast lawn treatments and perimeter applications and contains particle sizes that appeal to a spectrum of key insect pests. In addition, its formula is specially designed to work very effectively in the most challenging areas, including mulch.
“Early users, both lawn care and pest control customers, are pleased with the range of application uses and its performance in mulch, a common and frustrating challenge for them,” said Mike McDermott, global business leader for DuPont Professional Products. “Our customers who have come to trust the Advion brand for its performance and environmental attributes are gaining efficient, targeted perimeter and interior insect control with Advion insect granule.”
