Eco Serve Pest Services President Wins Entrepreneur Award

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. – Audrey Hall, president of Eco Serve Pest Services, graduated on June 11 from the University at Buffalo Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL) Core Program. This 10-month program allows participants to explore new methods for business growth in a confidential, noncompetitive environment with assistance from fellow classmates, UB School of Management faculty and external business experts.

Hall also graduated back in May of 2015 from the UB CEL Minority and Women Emerging Enterprises (MWEE) program. “CEL has been instrumental in the growth of our company. The class mates have become part of my work family and a sounding board for business ideas and challenges,” said Hall.

In addition to graduating from this program, Hall was honored with the 2020 Taylor Kew Award at the virtual ceremony held via Zoom last Thursday. “This was such a surprise and so humbling. This award really goes to my incredible team, my business partner and husband Scott who runs the ship, and our amazing customers who support us,” says Hall.

The Taylor Kew Award is an annual award which recognizes a graduate for entrepreneurial excellence and exemplifying the principles for which the late Kew stood.

Hall has been heavily involved on the University at Buffalo Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership Alumni Association (CELAA) Board of Directors since 2017. Beginning in July, Hall will be filling the role as Chair of the CELAA Board for this upcoming term. “It is a unique time to be stepping into this role with CELAA. Many small businesses are trying to get back on their feet and this is where we rally the troops, supporting our alum in any way we can. I am excited to get to work,” explains Hall.
