ORCHARD PARK, NY – Eco Serve Pest Services, a woman-owned business, announced its selection as a finalist for the Buffalo Business First 2024 Best Places to Work. This nomination highlights the company's commitment to fostering a supportive and dynamic work environment, the company said in a press release.
President Audrey Hall and Director of Operations Mark Pickhardt celebrated this achievement in March at Riverworks, an event in Buffalo hosted by Buffalo Business First. In honor of this accolade, a further celebration was held on April 17 at the company headquarters.
The event was a festive gathering for the entire Eco Serve team, complete with a celebratory sign outside the office, The Cheesy Chick Food Truck, engaging games, a cake and gifts to commemorate the honor.
Mark Pickhardt said, "We were thrilled to be named a finalist, and even more so to celebrate this achievement together as a team. Success like this comes from everyone's collaborative efforts, which is why it is essential to take time to acknowledge our collective hard work."
Founded in 2000 by John Zimmerman, Eco Serve began as a weekend venture and has grown under the leadership of his daughter, Hall, who took the helm in 2012 as a then solo entrepreneur. Under Audrey's direction, Eco Serve has experienced growth and development, transforming into a key player in the pest control industry within the region, the company said.
Hall said, "I am so proud of my team. They work so hard every day for each other and for their customers. They truly make Eco Serve such a special place to work and one I enjoy coming to every day."
