EcoFusion Pest Control Acquired by The Laque Group

MONTCLAIR, N.J. – EcoFusion Pest Control, a black-owned, family-operated pest control company, announced its acquisition by The Laque Group. This strategic move marks a new chapter in EcoFusion's journey, which began in the garage of founder Chikezie Onyianta's parents' home.

Chikezie Onyianta, a former EMT, established EcoFusion Pest Control with a mission to provide affordable and effective pest control services, particularly to those in dire need. Witnessing the challenging living conditions of many individuals firsthand, Onyianta was inspired to create a company that could offer free or heavily discounted services to low-income families.

"We started EcoFusion with the simple goal of making pest control accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation," said Onyianta. "Seeing the positive impact we've had on families in Montclair and beyond has been incredibly rewarding."

The acquisition by The Laque Group, a company seeking to expand its footprint in the pest control industry, will allow EcoFusion to enhance its services and reach more customers while maintaining its local, family-oriented approach. The Laque Group was particularly drawn to EcoFusion’s strong customer base and long-term client relationships, recognizing the company’s potential for growth and continued community impact.
