ST. PAUL, Minn. – Ecolab Pest Elimination announced the acquisition of the assets of the PSSI Pest business, a food safety solutions company, that serves customers in the U.S. Southeast, Texas and Colorado.
“We are excited to welcome the PSSI Pest business to Ecolab and our global pest elimination business, as we accelerate growth in this attractive market,” said Soraya Hlila, executive vice president and general manager, Global Pest Elimination.
Ecolab acquired the company's commercial pest services, rather than the acquisition of the whole company.
The PSSI team of food sanitors, microbiologists, technical experts, equipment engineers and safety specialists work to protect USDA, FDA and CFIA processing facilities to keep them compliant, clean, safe and audit-ready.
The acquisition was formally completed on September 9, 2024.
