ST. PAUL, Minn. — Ecolab announced that it has acquired the InsetCenter pest elimination business in Brazil. Sales of the acquired business are approximately $6 million. The business operations and staff will be integrated with Ecolab's existing Brazil Pest Elimination business. No further details were disclosed.
Douglas M. Baker, Jr., Ecolab's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer commented on the announcement, saying, "This acquisition will substantially increase our Brazilian Pest Elimination service capacity and scale to our business, making us the leader in commercial pest elimination in Brazil. It will also strengthen our customer relationships and opportunities. We welcome our new associates and customers to Ecolab, and we look forward to growing with them."
