EcoSMART Technologies recently hired John Brownlee as field business development manager for the Southeast Region.

EcoSMART Technologies recently hired John Brownlee as its field business development manager for the Southeast Region to help the company focus on growth opportunities in this area of the country. “As the interest and demand for alternative pesticides continues to grow, we knew we needed someone to support the product line in the Southeast where the highest concentration of PMP’s are located,” says David Murphy, vice president of EcoSMART’s Commercial Division. “John has been in the professional industry over 15 years, the last 10 years with Cook’s Pest Control. He wanted to represent our patented botanical products given the emerging consumer and regulatory trends, and we are happy to have him as part of our team.”

“In 2005, a number of field studies were conducted with PMPs that all showed how EcoSMART’s product line performed as well as conventional pesticides, even in high pest pressure areas of the country. With that information, we knew we were ready to focus more on the Southeast,” says Murphy. “EcoSMART will continue their partnership with Prentiss, and Rob Cooper (VP – Sales, Eastern Region) will work with John in the Southeast.”
