Yingst was founded in 1949, and its owner P. Henry Yingst is retiring from the pest control industry. Ehrlich was founded in 1928 and currently offers residential and commercial pest control, termite control, bird control, bioremediation, deer repellent and vegetation management services.
Yingst’s 7 employees will be retained by Ehrlich as coworkers at the company’s Lebanon and Lancaster offices. “We are very enthused about this opportunity to further build this portion of our service area,” said Victor Hammel, President of Rentokil’s North American Pest Control operations and J.C. Ehrlich Co., Inc. “This acquisition enables us to further develop an area that is already a strong one for us.”
Prior to purchasing Yingst, Ehrlich’s most recent acquisition was WFM Associates in Rochester, New York in August 2005.
