“We are very pleased with the acquisition of P&G,” said Hammel. “Over the years, P&G has established itself as a hard-working family business dedicated to satisfying its customers – much like Ehrlich. This acquisition will further enhance the customer base of several area Ehrlich offices.”
P&G was founded 12 years ago by the husband and wife team of Pete and Gail Miccicke. Mr. Miccicke had previous experience in the pest control industry prior to starting his own business. Since the company’s founding, the Miccickes grew the business in Carbon County as well as parts of Northampton, Lehigh and Schuylkill Counties where they provide pest and termite control services.
Miccicke says that he considered several factors in deciding to sell his business to Ehrlich. “I wanted to know that my customers would continue to receive the personal service they’ve come to expect. Ehrlich is a family run business with a reputation for great service, and I felt very comfortable leaving my customers in their hands.”
