Ehrlich/Rentokil Acquires Syracuse, New York-Based Company

READING, Pa. — Ehrlich/Rentokil Pest Control announced the acquisition of Syracuse, N.Y.-based Du-Right Pest Control. The announcement was made by Victor Hammel, Ehrlich President and CEO of Rentokil Pest Control North America.

John W. Fink, Sr. founded Du-Right in 1965 as a small family business with John working in the field and his wife Grace, running day-to-day operations in their office. The company has grown to employ 25 employees under the leadership of John’s son and current President Gary Fink

According to Hammel, "We are delighted with the opportunity to have a company like Du-Right become part of the Rentokil/Ehrlich organization. For more than 30 years, Gary Fink has developed his company based on the principles of professionalism and customer service. His 25 coworkers will be welcome additions to our company. Du-Right is by far the pre-imminent company in the Syracuse market and will substantially add to our growing business in upstate New York."

According to Fink, president and owner of Du-Right, “Although, we are at the strongest place in our company’s history for both customer growth and financial stability, we would soon reach a crossroad requiring further investment and personal commitment in order to continue our success.
