This webinar will detail the challenges bed bugs present for schools and review control and management tactics. It will illustrate a working bed bug plan in action and discuss everyone’s role in recognizing and stopping infestations. The webinar will feature:
Stephen Kells, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Extension Entomologist, University of Minnesota
Marcia Anderson, Ph.D., Environmental Protection Specialist,  EPA Center of Expertise for School IPM
Steven Morlino, Executive Director of Facilities, Paterson (New Jersey) Public Schools

This webinar is one in a series of EPA presentations offering information on IPM to help school districts adopt a proactive approach to pest control. The presentations are geared specifically to the school community: facility managers, buildings and grounds managers, staff, nurses, administrators, and IPM coordinators. Our IPM webinar series has already reached more than 1,300 school districts, representing more than 14 million students across the country. IPM is a smart, sensible, and sustainable approach to managing pests that takes action to address the underlying causes that enable pests to thrive.
