Environmental Pest Service Ranks No. 8 on 'Gator 100' List

The rankings are determined by revenue growth over the last three years. Environmental Pest Service grew by 98.3 percent from 2012 to 2014.

 

Sarasota-based Environmental Pest Service is a leader in sustainable solutions for termite and pest control, and lawn care services. The company operates four brands: Arrow Environmental Services in west and central Florida, Bug Out Service in north Florida, Skyline Pest Solutions in metro Atlanta, and State Pest Control in central North Carolina.

 

George Pickhardt, chairman of Environmental Pest Service, earned his bachelor’s degree in entomology, and his master’s degrees in ornamental horticulture and business administration from the University of Florida.

 

“It’s a tremendous honor to be recognized by my alma mater,” said Pickhardt. “My education from the University of Florida helped establish the business knowledge and pest control expertise that I needed to help make our company a success.”

 

Environmental Pest Service has merged with 79 companies since 2010, and recently expanded into North Carolina. While Environmental Pest Service has grown significantly through mergers, it also continues to have solid organic growth, a testament to how it is maintaining the foundation the company was built on: quality service and deep, long-term relationships with its customers. “Gator 100” honorees were recognized at an awards ceremony on Feb. 19 at the University of Florida’s J. Wayne Reitz Union Grand Ballroom in Gainesville.
