Eric Smith Elected President of Pi Chi Omega

Dr. Eric Smith, director of technical services, Dodson Pest Control, Lynchburg, Va., has been elected president of Pi Chi Omega, the national pest management fraternity.

LYNCHBURG, Va. — Dr. Eric Smith, director of technical services, Dodson Pest Control, has been elected president of the pest management fraternity Pi Chi Omega.

Smith was installed as president during PestWorld 2005 in Nashville last week. He will serve a 2-year term.  Smith, a B.C.E., has worked in the pest management industry for more than 25 years. 

Established in 1944, Dodson Pest Control has its corporate headquarters in Lynchburg, Va., with 32 offices throughout Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Pi Chi Omega is a 55-year old international fraternity of more than 500 pest management professionals from around the world. The fraternity was established to further the science of pest management, to promote the career of entomology and raise standards for professionalism in the industry
