ESS, ADAPCO Offer Electrostatic Spraying Technology and Equipment

Equipment Electrostatic Spraying Systems has partnered with ADAPCO to distribute ESS's Electrolon division's electrostatic spraying technology and equipment for mosquito control.

PHOENIX, Ariz. – Electrostatic Spraying Systems, Inc. (ESS), through its Electrolon division, has partnered with ADAPCO, Inc. the nation’s largest vector and mosquito control company. The partnership will allow ADAPCO to distribute Electrolon’s newest electrostatic spraying technology and equipment for its mosquito control clientele to combat the spread of the West Nile virus and other mosquito-borne diseases.

The electrostatic spraying technology developed by Electrostatic Spraying Systems, Inc. applies a negative electrical charge in the nozzle to liquid droplets which are distributed through a fine mist. The electrical charge creates a polarized “wrap effect” that coats whatever the target object is from every angle. Electrostatic spraying technology reduces the amount of chemicals used as well as overspraying by nearly 60 percent, saving both time and money.

“This technology will revolutionize the mosquito control industry just as it has for the agriculture industry,” said Bruce Whiting, president and owner of Electrostatic Spraying Systems, Inc. “Our goal is to bring new technologies to numerous industries including agriculture and public health, to improve the quality, efficiency and availability of spraying technologies.”

In addition to the ADAPCO partnership, Electrostatic Spraying Systems is embarking on ventures that will assist sanitation efforts in food processing plants, reduce the impact of chemicals on the environment and protect humans from potential biohazards.
