HELENA, Ala. - FarmerGuard Pest Control, based in Helena, Ala., ran a promotion throughout the month of April where a portion of all proceeds from new customer business would go to help local schools, the firm announced.
The "Help Our Schools" promotion helped raise $450 in funding that was presented at Helene Intermediate School in late May.
"We want to give back to our community as much as we can," said FarmerGuard's J.J. Farmer. "We're blessed to have our children enrolled in the Helena area schools which have some of the best teachers and support staff in the state."
