Established in 1997, PPMA’s proactive, unified voice educates consumers about the value of the professional pest management industry and the industry’s ability to protect health, food and property.
Candidates for the PPMA Executive Director position should have three major skill sets:
1.) Marketing excellence;
2.) Fundraising;
3.) Pest management industry background (helpful).
Marketing Excellence:
- Strategic direction setting
- Media relations (fielding interviews, etc.)
- Experience managing agency relationships
Fundraising:
- Willing to travel regularly and give compelling presentations to large groups
- Background with fundraising and organization development
Industry Expertise (helpful):
- Knowledge of the pest management industry, history and major players (manufacturers, PCOs, distributors)
