SUWANEE COUNTY, Fla. - On Monday, the Suwannee County Health Department announced that the Florida Department of Health issued a medical alert for Suwannee County after a human case of Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) was confirmed in a resident.
More Florida counties have activity in EEE than West Nile so far this year. And many more Florida counties have EEE activity than last year.

NEW HAMPSHIRE. A 4-year-old boy hospitalized in critical, but stable condition may came down with Eastern Equine Encephalitis, the second suspected case in New Hampshire, state Department of Health and Human Services said Monday.
