Monroe and Hillsborough counties are under mosquito-borne illness alerts. Walton, Volusia, Clay, Osceola, Miami-Dade, Collier, Glades, Polk, Lake, Jackson, Washington, Wakulla, Leon, and Madison counties are under mosquito-borne illness advisories.
Alachua County also issued a "Mosquito Borne Diseases Alert" on 4 August, but this may not be the same as a Florida DOH Alert which usually means that human cases have been confirmed.
