Four Florida counties have reported West Nile virus activity this calendar year, while four others have reported Eastern Equine Encephalomyelitis activity.

Four Florida counties have reported West Nile virus activity this calendar year. Four others have reported Eastern Equine Encephalomyelitis activity. Although no human cases have surfaced yet, it is a good idea to remember the principles of mosquito avoidance and management, especially around homes.
