PHILADELPHIA – Continuing education credits (CEUs) are available to pest professionals in August through a free 60-minute webinars that are part of the FMC True Champions end-user loyalty program.
The August 11 pest course is “Flies: Biology & Management” presented by Dr. Shaku Nair (University of Arizona) at 10:30 a.m. E.T. To register for FMC True Champions and the pest webinar, visit the Flies: Biology & Management page.
The monthly webinars are free to attend, however, only FMC True Champions members can receive CEU credits. To register, attendees simply join FMC’s True Champions program and in return, they receive exclusive business-building solutions and rewards on FMC products, as well as become part of the company’s industry commitment to support the pest control industry.
Nair’s webinar on Flies provides an overview of Diptera and will focus on filth flies and other species. Her presentation will explore how flies are problematic in community environments, as well as their biology and management.
The FMC first Friday program provides monthly webinars with CEU credits typically offered in 30-40 states.
“Dr. Nair gave a tremendous presentation last year on ticks and was requested by many to lecture again, we’re proud to have her back,” says Mike Sisti, North America Marketing Manager at FMC Professional Solutions. “Flies are a staple pest that affect almost every aspect of pest control, from residential to commercial to food handling. This is an important topic.
