FMC Professional Solutions Integrates CB Line and Representatives into Unified Team

PHILADELPHIA — FMC Professional Solutions, a business unit of FMC Corporation, is quickly integrating the CB Professional Products line into the FMC portfolio as well as new sales and technical representatives to the current team with a weeklong marketing and sales training session, completed only weeks after the acquisition of the CB portfolio from Waterbury Companies.

The newly expanded FMC Professional Solutions sales and technical team now includes the addition of sales representatives Dean Johnson and Charlene Mertz and product development manager Reid Ipser, all of whom made the transition. The existing North American pest and turf sales and marketing teams joined the three for a comprehensive sales and marketing training session, during which the CB product line was fully integrated into the FMC portfolio.

All of the CB products purchased in the acquisition will be available for order directly from FMC starting the first part of April. A quick yet thorough transition was always the goal, according to Dan Rosenbaum, business director of FMC Professional Solutions.

“Strategically we planned to bring together the FMC and CB portfolios as soon as possible because we wanted to ensure that all customers continue to receive the high-level customer service and sales support they are accustomed to receiving from FMC,” Rosenbaum said. “In addition, we are now able to offer a broader product portfolio that meets our goal of delivering stronger customer-driven solutions to the distribution channel and ultimately to pest management professionals throughout the country.”

FMC Professional Solutions acquired the CB Professional Products line of insect control products in late February, and the products will soon be rebranded under the FMC CB Products name, Rosenbaum added.

The acquired product portfolio includes a complete line of aerosol sprays as well as baits, fly lights, foggers and other products. The CB aerosol portfolio is one of the leading aerosol product lines offered to pest management professionals in North America.

A few of the CB Professional Products now part of the FMC portfolio include MicrobeMAX foam drain cleaner, CB-80 Extra, Clean Air Purge and D-Foam.

FMC Professional Solutions has a product portfolio that includes the mainstay Talstar line of liquid and granular insecticides, Transport GHP insecticide, Transport termiticide/insecticide (TI), Dragnet SFR, Cynoff, and BaseLine Pretreat insecticides, Dismiss, Echelon, and QuickSilver herbicides, and Segway fungicide.
