Forshaw’s Elaine Williams Retiring After 40 Years

Williams, who began with Forshaw in 1966, started out in purchasing and inventory control, but has served the company in many capacities during the past 40 years.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Elaine Williams has retired after 40 years of service with Forshaw. Williams started in 1966 just 5 years after Forshaw Chemicals was founded by Thomas Forshaw, Jr. Williams started out purchasing and inventory control, however she has worked in the plant, and warehouse even driving fork lifts.

When drivers became short Williams drove tractor trailers back and forth to Wichita on the weekends. For the last decade Williams has been in charge of purchasing and inventory control. She has been chairman of the keyperson meeting with SPECKOZ and has been a major manager within FORSHAW.

Williams looks forward to spending more time with her nieces and great nieces.
