CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Forshaw announced that Molly Moran, regional operations and compliance manager, has been recognized as a winner of the prestigious 13th annual Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award recipient by The NASCAR Foundation. This accolade was announced on Fox Sports NASCAR Race Hub, underscoring her commitment to volunteering for children’s organizations.
The recognition of Moran by The NASCAR Foundation serves as a testament to her dedication to bettering the lives of children, the company said.
The Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award honors the legacy of the foundation’s late founder and chairwoman by acknowledging NASCAR fans who volunteer for children’s causes in their local communities. Each finalist, including Moran, received a minimum of $25,000 for their organization, with the grand prize winner securing a $100,000 donation from The NASCAR Foundation.
Moran's $100,000 donation was given to Comfort Zone Camps, a non-profit organization that provides a safe and healing environment for children who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Through their programs, they offer support, understanding and a community where children can learn to cope with their grief and find strength in shared experiences.
