Fox Pest Control Launches Company-Wide Service Initiative

LOGAN, UTAH — Based out of Logan, Utah, Fox Pest Control spearheaded a new company-wide service initiative in September called the Green Glove Project. Fox branches around the nation, including the Logan corporate office, celebrated by hosting local service projects in their communities. 

 

Corpus Christi, Albany, McAllen, Lubbock, Boston, Virginia Beach, Rochester, Syracuse, Chicago, Baton Rouge, Oxford, Westchester, Harrisburg, Rhode Island and Logan were among the participating locations. 

 

Jason Riddick, branch manager of the Virginia Beach location, organized a trash pickup in front of a historic Norfolk, VA church. The team collected 20 bags, almost 200 lbs., of trash. 

 

“Through a long summer of working, COVID-19 and everything else they have going on in their personal lives, the technicians at our office found a way to make time for someone else,” Riddick said. “This area got some attention it’s needed for years.”

 

On the other hand, Corpus Christi team members painted the interior of Corpus Christi Hope House, a shelter that houses women and children. 

 

Branch Manager Jordon Pentacost said that although they’re not professional painters, “It felt good to have fun and give back at the same time.” 

 

In Harrisburg, seven  representatives of Fox Pest Control’s local branch repaired a damaged fence for a York customer whose husband is struggling with cancer. The branch provided a pro bono pest control treatment and will continue with a free follow up, quoted at over $300. 

 

“At Fox Pest Control, we truly care about our customers and the community,” Odland said. “This initiative gives us the opportunity to lend a helping hand to those around us and make a positive impact. We plan to continue to do these projects in the years to come.”
