OXFORD, Conn. — On July 16, Fox Pest Control donated more than $1,400 to charities. Fox sales representatives gave $728 of earnings to the Epilepsy Foundation to improve the lives of those dealing with epilepsy and seizure disorders. Co-founder of Fox Pest Control, Bryant White, matched this donation to support local nonprofit organizations affected by COVID-19.
Carson Rupe, Oxford sales manager at Fox Pest Control, presented the opportunity to all the sales representatives to donate their income towards a charity of their choice. The sales representatives collaborated with team members and customers to collectively determine where to donate.
A Fox Pest Control customer suggested the company donate to the Epilepsy Foundation. The organization leads the fight in overcoming the challenges of living with epilepsy and works to advance therapies and treatments.
“We are given so much and we would be ungrateful to not give any back," Rupe said.
White recognized this as a time to also give to local organizations. White donated to The Valley Community COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund, which assists nonprofit organizations struggling from the effects of COVID-19 in the Oxford, Conn. area.
