LOGAN, Utah — Last week Fox Pest Control, a Logan-based pest control company, sponsored the 2020 Cannon Blob Triathlon, organized by Adams Wealth Advisors, with all proceeds going towards the CAPSA Emergency Center.
Around 70 Fox Pest Control employees participated individually in the virtual event, each tracking their own distance. Together, Fox employees logged about 619 miles and the event raised about $2,878 for CAPSA.
“For me it was about showing myself that I can do hard things, and I got to build and strengthen my relationships with my daughters and co-worker while supporting an amazing cause,” said Kortnie Wallace, employee at Fox Pest Control. “A total win, win, win.”
CAPSA is a non-profit recovery center for those suffering from domestic violence or sexual abuse. Most of their fundraising has halted due to COVID-19 while the needs of their recovery center have increased by about 50 percent.
“We are so grateful to Adams Wealth Advisors for organizing this event. It’s such a great way to benefit CAPSA,” stated Michael Stokes, chief operations officer at Fox Pest Control. “Our team enjoys participating and making a difference.”
Fox Pest Control has offered residential and commercial pest control services since 2012 and has helped more than 50,000 customers. More information can be found at www.fox-pest.com.
