BREWSTER, N.Y. - Fox Pest Control commemorates a new Hudson Valley office location by fundraising for Colorectal Cancer Alliance. Throughout March, their team of Pest Pros dressed in blue and distributed blue Colorectal Cancer Awareness wristbands to local customers.
Service Manager, Jim Buick, stated, “We chose this philanthropic cause to commemorate the opening of our new Hudson Valley location in Brewster, and because my grandfather passed from colorectal cancer, and colorectal cancer runs in my family.”
Throughout the month, Fox Pest Control distributed 200 Colorectal Cancer Awareness wristbands to customers. Some customers and employees donated directly to the alliance while Fox Pest donated $1 for each wristband that a customer accepted. Together they raised $404 throughout the month of March to be donated directly to the Alliance, surpassing their goal of $250.
“We are happy to be able to give back to others in need," said Buick. "At Fox we recognize the impact that serving others can create in our communities and look forward to doing more in the future."
