FAIRFAX, Va. — Jim Fredericks, vice president of technical and regulatory affairs, National Pest Management Association, was featured Sunday morning on The Weather Channel for a segment about how weather impacts pest pressure.
Fredericks promoted NPMA’s new Bug Barometer, a forecast indicating what Americans can expect from pest populations this fall and winter.
As part of the interview Fredericks noted that NPMA expects the Northeast to experience “extremely high mosquito and tick pressure,” a result of warmer than normal September temperatures.
Fredericks also reminded viewers that “it's a good idea when you need help to call a pest professional.”
