This photo of R norvegicus was taken in a residential apartment in London. The photographer had been called in to investigate an ongoing rat problem in an apartment and opened the door of a small disused toilet to be confronted by this rat. Rats were constantly going in and out of this toilet and were nesting in the corner behind it as well.
