Williams was presented with the award during the association’s recent annual meeting in Woburn, MA. In his position with Univar USA, Williams provides sales and technical support through pest management distribution. For NEMPA, Williams is an active supporter of educational programs and expositions. He meets regularly with pest management professionals throughout New England offering his expertise by conducting in-house training, and in-the-field consultations and inspections.
Williams serves as chairman of both NEPMA’s membership committee and vendor relations committee, establishing relationships with prospective members and industry vendor r companies. He has held various board of director positions since 1995.
On behalf of the regional pest management industry, Williams routinely alerts association leaders and other industry stakeholders to developing pesticide concerns or new industry trends, often suggesting appropriate response or action.
Williams has worked for Univar USA for the past 13 years. His region covers Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.
He has more than 19 years of experience in the pest management industry, including 15 years in chemical distribution and four years in pest management.
He resides in Cumberland, RI with his wife Jackie and their four children.
Named in honor of the organization’s founder and first president, the Bartlett W. Eldredge award is intended to honor a pest management professional who has distinguished himself and demonstrated service to the association, the pest management industry, local community service, and who has earned overall respect and recognition by industry peers.
The association is comprised of more than 140 pest management professionals and affiliated industry suppliers in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. Executive offices are located at 53 Regional Drive, Suite 1, Concord, NH.
