Geotech Supply announces a new addition to its growing team, Daniel Hutten, as technical sales representative covering the Bay Area, north coast, and wine regions of northern California.
Hutten received his bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Barbara. While pursuing his degree, he worked in Dr. Vernard Lewis’ lab at UC Berkeley. There, in the Insect Biology Department under the guidance of Gail Getty, Hutten began his entomological education and journey into the pest control industry.
Hutten was raised in the family construction business. Dealing with custom home buyers, he learned how to satisfy and find solutions for high-end customers. “I’ve done it all – from pounding nails to problem solving with discriminating clients,” says Hutten. “I think my years of construction experience provide a strong foundation for my role in the pest and termite industry.”
In 2010, Hutten reunited with Gail Getty at Domus Institute, where he worked on bed bug training and certification programs. It was at Domus that Hutten was reintroduced into the pest control industry, which he has decided to make his profession. He can be reached at dhutten@geotechsupply.com.
