NORCROSS, Ga. - Julie Ramirez, Forsyth Exterminating and Lee Tubbs, Daisy Pest Control, members of the Georgia Pest Control Association, have received scholarships to attend the NPMA Academy in Scottsdale, Ariz., this summer.
The effort is funded by the GPCA Guardians, a group of dedicated individuals who focus on leadership, public relations and education through GPCA. Ramirez was chosen by her peers from the most recent GPCA Leadership Class and Tubbs was chosen by the GPCA Executive Board from GPCA’s general membership.
It is through the devotion of this progressive group that bi-annual scholarships are awarded to participate in GPCA’s pretigious Leadership Class, materials are developed for the school out-reach program and advanced public relations and web site management efforts are maintained.
