NORCROSS, GA — The Georgia Pest Control Association (GPCA) today welcomed a new slate of executive officers for 2015-2016. The officers were sworn in during the 2015 GPCA Summer Conference in Orlando, FL.
The new officers include President, Shay Runion of Arrow Exterminators, Atlanta; Vice President, Randy Martin of Home Tec Exterminating in Alpharetta; Secretary/Treasurer, Roger Lemaster, of Cook’s Pest Control in Rome; and Chairman of the Board, Jeff Dunn of Northwest Exterminating in Marietta.
“It is with great pride that I accepted this position to serve as a part of the leading State Pest Control Association in the country,” said Shay Runion, 2015-2016 GPCA president. “Our plan in the 2015-2016 year is to continue to build on the season of success we experienced in the 2014-2015 year and with our members help we can accomplish this. We will remain laser focused on promoting this industry in a positive way.”
President Shay Runion is just the second woman to serve as President of the GPCA in the 65 year history of the Association.
Hundreds of pest management professionals from Georgia and surrounding states attended the conference in Orlando.
The officers will serve a one-year term ending July 2016. Each of the executive officers has served previous terms on the board of directors and has been active in board committees
