GPCA Recognizes Outstanding Professionals

The Georgia Pest Control Association recognized six service professionals from member companies for their standout service.


For the past four years, the Georgia Pest Control Association recognized six service professionals from member companies for their standout service. This list includes individuals who are the backbone of the pest control industry’s success in Georgia. These are the frontline people who frequently work long hours, talk to concerned customers, and work in their community. They are the people that GPCA businesses consider their ‘go-to-peopl’.

In Athens this year, GPCA honored six recipients.

LEIGH ANN BROWNING

“Leigh Ann has a very posi-tive attitude and an infec-tious sense of humor. She was awarded the most prestigious honor given an administrative employee—The Emma Lene Phillips Award, presented annually to the employee exhibiting the best support and encour-agement. She is a model for our “Customers for Life” motto, always putting cus-tomers first.

Personal achievements include: L&L fundraiser, Cancer Society Breast Walk, Heatlh and Layette kits for Haiti, food drives.

LYNN DOLAN

“Lynn left her job as a court reporter to help me build our business. She is not afraid to crawl under any house or do any type of “dirty work”. When I was ill in and out of work for an entire year, Lynn ran the whole company by herself and sat with me in the hospital every night, all this while she manages her own medical issues with MS. She does all the company train-ing, dresses up like different bugs for parades and runs the office (every part) when needed. Lynn is active in GPCA serving as Region 6 Director and on the Education Committee. “

His knowledge is vast from pest control, termite or even rodents he is an expert. He is committed to the Arrow STEPS program—a strict adherence to IPM techniques. ”

“Lloyd is one of the most caring, hon-est, loyal and giving persons I have ever met. He is totally focused on customer satisfaction and taking care of customer’s problems. He remembers days that are special (including religious days) to his custom-ers, sending them cards because he cares. Lloyd always comes in first in our branch for collecting the most dona-tions for LLS. He is the worship leader for Old Salem Christian Church.”
