NORCROSS, Ga. — The Georgia Pest Control Association’s (GPCA’s) Public Relations Committee, in conjunction with several area regions, gathered almost 3,000 items to donate to the Salvation Army.
The director of the pantry for the Lawrenceville facility reported to Randy Wilhite, committee co-chair, said that the pantry recently had to be closed because they ran out of food. With GPCA’s donations they will be able to re-open the pantry next week for those in need.
These donations were made possible by Wilhite and Darrell Lee, committee co-chairs, as well as the following participating companies: Ace Exterminating, Active Pest Control, Allgood Pest Solutions, Arrow Exterminators, BB & T Insurance, Cook’s Pest Control, Dow AgroSciences, Future Services, GPCA, L & L Organization, Northwest Exterminating, Randy Ely and Terry Bowen.
