Kemp Anderson Consulting announced the addition of Grant Sinnott, a quantitative analyst and data scientist.

For more than six years Sinnott was responsible for quantitative analytics at Bank of America, an American multinational investment bank and financial services holding company. He participated in macroeconomic and credit modeling for several billion-dollar bank portfolios, defending the Bank’s high risk statistical models in front of regulators. In addition, he managed multiple data science and machine learning work streams across the bank’s wholesale credit lending space, leading the effort to determine how to use machine learning to migrate Bank of America’s wholesale credit portfolio off LIBOR. In addition, he worked on the bank’s AI Chatbot Erica and the Paycheck Protection Program during COVID.

Prior to Bank of America, Sinnott worked at General Electric in their corporate finance program and published economics research at the University of Florida. He is a former Champion of the National Forensics League Debate Tournament. Sinnott holds a BA in mathematics and economics and an MBA in finance from the University of Florida. Kemp Anderson Consulting said Sinnott's background in software engineering, data science, and financial engineering make him a true value-add to its clients as they evaluate their selling potential.

Sinnott has traveled the world looking for tall mountains to climb and remote corners to visit and his favorite mountaineering trips include treks in Patagonia and big wall climbing in Yosemite. When he’s not assisting clients, Sinnott loves to spend every minute outdoors and can often be found climbing, fishing, or hiking somewhere between Southern California and Wyoming.
