LINDENWOLD, N.J. — Fifteen members of the Green Lawn Fertilizing and Green Pest Solutions team got together for a short social-distanced ceremony to commemorate breaking ground of the new addition to their Lindenwold, N.J. branch.
Storm clouds and a scattered rain wasn’t enough to deter the excitement felt throughout the ceremony in Lindenwold. All 15 Green Lawn and Green Pest team members arrived with masks on ready to celebrate the start of construction. Owner/President Matt Jesson kicked off the rainy morning with a few words which conveyed the importance of the new Lindenwold building project.
“It’s a great to see all of you after nearly five months of working in separate locations. Breaking ground at our new Lindenwold facility is certainly an event worth getting together to celebrate. It is yet another milestone in our growth as a company and a testament to the leadership of everyone here today,” said Jesson.
After Jesson’s speech, team members quickly braced the rain for a quick photo. Golden shovels in hand and a slight drizzle made for quite the interesting photo at the site of construction. Green Lawn Fertilizing and Green Pest Solutions team members stood in their socially distanced spots marked 7 feet apart with smiles behind their masks for the photo. The photo marked the last day the lot would be empty as construction was set to begin the next day in Lindenwold.
The 8,000 square foot addition is set to be completed by mid-December. Once finished, the new building will provide a state-of-the-art fill system to help get technicians out on the road faster and provide better calibration of materials. It will feature multiple bays for equipment repair and ample space for material storage. The building will sit adjacent to the current branch building which during peak season operates with 20+ lawn technicians, 10+ pest technicians, 15+ residential outside sales reps in addition to operations and service managers.
