Green Pest Solutions Named to Philadelphia Top 100

 

Green Lawn Fertilizing/Green Pest Solutions made the list due to its massive growth over the past three years. From 2017 to 2019 the company’s top line revenue grew by over 47% and its employee headcount grew by over 70%. President and Owner, Matt Jesson said he could not have been prouder to make the Philadelphia 100 list for the first time since 2015. “It’s an amazing achievement to be listed among the fastest 100 companies in the region. It’s a testament to our extraordinary team members who execute on our mission each and every day to deliver a superior customer experience.” 

 

The Philadelphia 100 was started in 1988 by The Entrepreneurs’ Forum of Greater Philadelphia to help recognize some of the regions finest companies. Only companies that are among the fastest growing, privately held companies are awarded the Philadelphia 100 designation.

 

In order to qualify for the Philadelphia 100 list, companies must be independent, privately held corporation, proprietorship or partnership. Applicants must have a full three-year sales history with a sales increase from 2017 to 2019. Sales in 2017 must be for a full 12 months and greater than $125,000. Company headquarters must be located in Philadelphia, Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, Bucks, Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Mercer or New Castle counties.

 

In a typical year the Philadelphia 100 winner’s rankings would be announced at a live ceremony in Philadelphia. However due to the Covid-19 pandemic that event will be taking place virtually on October 21st. To commemorate the company selections onto the list, team members working from home celebrated together on Zoom and technicians made a procession in their vehicles while honking and pumping their fists.

 

While the Entrepreneur’s Forum of Greater Philadelphia used revenue data ending in 2019 to determine its 2020 Philadelphia 100 winners, the company is having one of its best year yet in 2020. Both Green Lawn Fertilizing and Green Pest Solutions have thrived despite the challenges brought upon the business by Covid-19. With a projected revenue growth of 22% this year, they are making a strong push for the Philadelphia 100 list again in 2021.
