TAMPA, Fla. – What did Greenhouse Termite and Pest Control do for Earth Day? Bright and early Monday morning, the team helped with a beach cleanup for the non-profit organization Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful.
The team walked the Cypress Point Park beach and grass, scooping up everything from plastic bottles to snack wrappers. By the end of the morning, more than 20 trash bags were filled with debris and litter.
Earth Day is more than just a day on the calendar; It’s a reminder that each of us has the power to make a difference, the company said.
"Whether it’s cleaning up highways, parks or beaches on the weekend, or making the switch to environmentally safer pest control products, every little effort counts," said Greenhouse Marketing Coordinator Cassie Arriel. "Together, we can work towards a greener, healthier planet for generations to come."
