Griffin Pest Solutions Opens New Headquarters

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — After operating for more than 40 years on Kilgore Road, Linden Griffin Jr., owner and president of Griffin Pest Solutions, thought it was time for a change.

“We were growing at a phenomenal rate and needed more space,” says Griffin.

A ribbon cutting ceremony and open house were last week to celebrate the recent completion of the company’s new multi-million dollar corporate headquarters completed at 2700 Stadium Drive. The 9,000-square foot facility was designed with an art-deco style, barrel-vaulted ceilings and was carefully sighted on the land to avoid impact of the approximately five acres of wetlands on the north end of the property. Built on land that has been vacant since it was used as a dirt-fill area during Stadium Drive construction about 30 years ago, the new facility houses the corporate staff as well as a state-of-the-art call center.

“The call center will field all of our service calls for the states of Michigan and Indiana,” Griffin said. Several part-time and full-time positions customer service representative positions were added for the call center. Additionally, positions were added to accounting and commercial sales.

Griffin Pest Solutions will continue service operations from the Kilgore Road location as well as operate from field offices in Grand Rapids, Battle Creek and Ann Arbor.
