PAYNESVILLE, Minn. - Valley Industries announced Pete Gustin as its new Comet Product Manager. Gustin will be responsible for managing sales and product development for Comet pumps and accessories in North America.
“Pete has many years of experience with the Comet brand and a proven track record of sales growth and product development” said Dan Savage, Director of Sales & Marketing for Valley Industries.
Gustin got his start with Comet diaphragm pumps back in 1995 while working for his family business, UNICO Spray Products Corporation. UNICO was instrumental in establishing Comet brand diaphragm pumps into the agricultural sprayer market. With its rapid growth, UNICO merged with Valley Industries in 2010. This merger provided the support and resources for Gustin to expand Comet diaphragm pumps into new industrial applications such as carpet cleaning, softwash and liquid rubber.
