Victor Hammel has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Reading Health System.
A board member since 1992, Hammel served Reading Health System as Vice Chairman of the Board from 2011-2013.
Reading Health System, headquartered in West Reading, Pennsylvania, provides a full spectrum of healthcare services through its 147-year-old flagship Reading Hospital, as well as Reading Health Rehabilitation Hospital, Reading Health Physician Network, Reading Health Home Care, Berkshire Health Partners, and The Highlands at Wyomissing. Reading Health System, one of the largest health systems in south central Pennsylvania, has more than 825 providers on its medical staff and 8,000 employees operating from 65 sites.
Hammel is currently chairman of Rentokil Pest Control, North America and was formerly co-owner and Chief Executive Officer of J.C. Ehrlich Co., Inc.
