Dr. Harold Harlan, the subject of PCT's November cover story, received EPA's Bronze Medal Award during a ceremony at Crystal City, Va,. on November 8, 2011.
The award was in recognition of his outstanding accomplishments and participation in the Federal Bed Bug Workgroup to improve the consistency, quality, and efficiency of the federal response to the bed bug problem. The Bronze Medal Award is the third highest formal Honor Award given by EPA.
