CHESAPEAKE, Va. - HomePro Pest Control was recently named to FrugalDad.com's Top Pest Control Blogs. FrugalDad stated that HomePro's blog had "humorous and insightful ideas" that are "interesting and informative".
Mickey Ferrell, owner of the Chesapeake, Va.-based pest control company, was pleased to be recognized. "HomePro takes pride in offering useful pest control advice to the Hampton Roads area," Ferrell said.
One of HomePro's most popular entries is "Can I Get Termites From Mulch?" according to FrugalDad. That post discusses some misconceptions about termites and mulch. "Many people are surprised to find out that it's highly unlikely that a subterranean termite infestation is the result of newly installed mulch," Ferrell said.
HomePro's blog also has entries that discuss crawlspace moisture and general pest problems. "We try to cover all the pest issues, including wood destroying fungi. Just because it doesn't crawl, doesn't mean it's not a pest," he said.
HomePro's blog focuses on pest issues related to the Hampton Roads, Va. area, but some of the topics are universal.
