HomeTeam Pest Defense Acquires Atlantic Pest Solutions

DALLAS — HomeTeam Pest Defense announced it has acquired Jacksonville, Fla.-based Atlantic Pest Solutions. Transaction terms were not disclosed.                           

“We were attracted to Atlantic Pest Solutions because of its emphasis on customer service and our past experience working with the owner, Kevin Maxwell,” said Jerry Gahlhoff, president of HomeTeam Pest Defense. 

On three occasions, HomeTeam has acquired pest management businesses from Maxwell beginning with Zion Termite and Pest Control in 1998.  In 2009, HomeTeam purchased some key customer routes from Atlantic Pest Control, which was also owned by Maxwell.  With this third acquisition, HomeTeam continues its expansion in an important geographic area.
