DALLAS - HomeTeam Pest Defense announced today it has acquired Raburn Pest Control and Lindsey Termite and Pest Control, Inc., both of Tampa, Fla., and the assets of PestBear in Atlanta, Ga. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
“We were attracted to these companies because of their emphasis on customer service,” said Bob Wanzer, CEO and president of HomeTeam Pest Defense. “These acquisitions offer HomeTeam an opportunity to expand in important geographic areas – something we want to continue to do. We are pleased to welcome these customers to HomeTeam.”
“We’re always on the lookout for small, well run companies that fit into our corporate culture and let us expand into geographic targets where we want to increase our market penetration,” Wanzer added.
Despite the downturn in the economy, HomeTeam Pest Defense continues to invest in acquisitions that fit its profile.
