Founded in 1992 by Ray Keech, Suncal is among the leading providers of termite and pest control services throughout the San Diego area. The acquisition will provide HomeTeam with its first branch office in the San Diego market, an area it has been trying to establish a presence in for some time.
In January, HomeTeam acquired Mantis Pest Control. Founded in 2002 by Travis Huntsman, Mantis has grown to become among the leading providers of general pest control services within the Raleigh Durham market. The majority of the company’s revenues are generated through its pest control services provided to residential customers. The company services the counties of Wake, Orange, Johnston, Chatham, Durham and Alamance. The acquisition substantially strengthens HomeTeam’s existing presence in the Raleigh Durham market.
The Tullius Company represented HomeTeam Pest Defense in both transactions. Terms were not disclosed in either acquisition.
