Honors and Recognition from this Year’s Purdue Conference
The 70th Annual Purdue Pest Management provided opportunities to recognize those who have made significant contributions to the pest management industry.
Veteran PMP Duane Edwards, who passed away in 1998, was inducted into the Indiana Pest Management Hall of Fame. Family members in attendance for the ceremony were Dave Edwards, owner of Eagle Pest Services (center), along with his wife and children.
Univar and Dr. Bobby Corrigan presented a $1,000 check to the Indiana Pest Management Association for the organization’s Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. A cake was provided to attendees in celebration of the Purdue Pest Management Conference's 70th anniversary.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — In addition to the educational sessions, networking opportunities and product-filled showroom (see related story), the 70th Annual Purdue Pest Management was an opportunity to recognize those who have made significant contributions to the pest management industry.
Those honored at Purdue included:
Purdue Professor Emeritus John Osmun, who joined the university in 1948 and whose contributions include the development of a four-year curriculum in structural pest control at Purdue.
Greg Campbell of Hatfield Pest Control, LaPorte, Ind. Campbell was recognized by Purdue and Gary Bennett in appreciation of Campbell's efforts to promote continuing education throughout the pest control industry in Indiana. Campbell served two separate terms as president of the Indiana Pest Management Association.
