Hurricane Katrina Recovery Resources Available on LIPCA Web Site

BATON ROUGE, La. — The LIPCA web site, www.lipca.com now features a message board, links to agencies offering assistance, and other ways to share information and help; the site will be linked to the Louisiana Pest Management Association (www.lpca.org) web site.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, communication with Louisiana pest control operators has been very difficult. LIPCA has yet to hear from many of its colleagues in the affected areas, and has now established an Internet-based means of posting notices and resources for PCOs impacted by the storm. PCOs and other industry officials can access www.lipca.com to review these resources and to contribute any new information by posting to the message board or e-mailing Allen Fugler at allen.fugler@lipca.com.
